May Allah protect us all against disgrace in
the world and the Hereafter!
Let us talk of "Jail and Prisonhouse" even today. This topic has been
discussed in the Holy Quran. The word
’’اَلسِّجْنْ‘‘ . Jail occurs
for six times in the Holy Quran. So, there should be at least six
columns about it. At present, we shall content at two. We shall try to
sum up this topic today.
The two-legged European animals clamour that Islamic punishments are
horrible whereas the present day system of jails is in accordance with
Human Rights. May Allah forgive! May Allah forgive! May Allah forgive!
Lo, listen! A man stole. Is stealing not a horrible act? He was arrested
according to the Islamic dictate and kept in captivity for a few days
for investigation. When the charge was proved, his hands were clipped
and he was released. Is it a horrible act? That person was certainly
deprived of his dishonest hand. If such a hand remained, how many houses
had it depopulated, and disgraced how many chaste people, turned how
many daughters into beggars, we don't know. The clipped hand became an
exemplary lesson for him and others also. Now, man will think a hundreds
of times before stealing. Then that person went back to his family. A
disgrace has been attached with him but people will kiss that hand if he
repents. How many people became dear ones of the creatures when they
repented? Now, that person can look after his wife and children
